DRAFT DAY
What goes through the mind of a man when he passes through the threshhold of his dreams? Draft Day! The day that many wait for with anticipation. The day that signifies validation. The day that seems so far away along the journey, but so close that you can taste it!
Draft Day. The type of thing that dreams are made of, and not only for the athletes! It may mean a college education for a sibling, or a chance for an ailing mother to finally rest her feet. When some cheer on draft day, others may weep. When one athlete goes higher than expected, another athlete goes lower than expected. Trust me. Emotions run rampid on Draft Day.
For the NFL, Draft Day is an early Christmas. Time to invest in your team. Time to see if by chance you can scratch that winning lottery ticket that reads “Payton Manning” or “Joe Montana”. The ticket that sets your franchise brand apart from the rest!
So on this 2011 Draft day, as emotions run high and hearts beats fly fast. Before You Go Pro says congratulations and good luck to all involved. From the athletes, to the Coachs, to the NFL Draft stage crew. Everyone is on pins and needles today, and everone will go to bed tonight with a different perspective about the todays event. But let me remind you of this. Football has come too far to turn back now. The fans have spoken. We want football. AND THE SHOW MUST AND WILL GO ON!
