Every Senior player has to decide if they will continue to chase their dream of making a living playing Pro football once the last second ticks off the clock during their last Senior football game! Some will indeed capture their dream of playing in the NFL, retiring their parents and getting married to the woman of their dreams on an exotic beach. Most won’t!
For most, trying to chase their Pro football dream after College will be a grind.
Sifting through referrals of half-ass agents, staying up late to email Player Personnel staff, and paying $100 for “cattle-call” workouts are the norm.
However, for all of the normal athletes, it gets’s extremely difficult to create an income and continue to chase the dream. So here’s our list of great jobs for the unemployed football players who are not ready to hang up their cleats.

Uber/Lyft
Ride-sharing is an evolution that plays perfectly into the hands of an unemployed football player. Cut the app on whenever you want, wherever you want, and make money. This is your chance to be your own boss. No need to ask anyone for a day off to workout for a CFL or XFL team.
GYM/Personal Trainer
This has been a go-to for unemployed football players for years. Working in a gym allows you to have a FREE gym membership, make money, and keep yourself in an environment centered on health and fitness.
Mobile Food/Package Delivery
Similar to the Ride-sharing opportunity, companies like Amazon, Grubhub, Doordash, Postmates, etc. Give unemployed athletes the opportunity to make money anywhere, and not have to worry about loosing a job because you need a day off to go workout for a team
Online Sales/Freelance Work
Athletes are competitive. We like to feel like we are getting fair compensation for the work we put in. Sales gives you that opportunity! With the power to reach anyone through the Internet, many sales companies have openings to be a virtual sales consultant or Freelancer. This may require sales or skills training, but most online jobs are usually results based and provide flexible hours.
